The Friends of Broomfield Park planted an additional seven elms with the support of their volunteers and community members on Saturday. These will add to the elm cultivars/varieties that they have in the park including: Ulmus ‘Lutece’; ‘Columella’; ‘Vada’; ‘Wingham’ and ‘Glabra’ along with some small field elms in the hedgerows, they will be a great addition to the park and play a role in habitat development.
