Welcome again to our partners at Meath Gardens who have this year planted seven elms, made up of  three varieties of disease-resistant trees these being: U. ‘Dodoens’, U. ‘Clusius’ and U. ‘Frontier’.

  The first of the elms are being planted by volunteers at Stambourne Woods. These are Ulmus ‘Lutece’ and are the first of twelve trees for the site and these two have been named by the volunteers as ‘Dave’ and ‘Mr Tickle’!  

We are pleased to announce that we have allocated 132 elm trees during this campaign

The 2025\2026 campaign will close soon. We are excited to have allocated almost all our stock of Elm trees for this planting season and are happy to welcome new sites across London spreading the elm even further.

This is the second year of our offering Ulmus ‘Columella’ and this is a tree of special interest, as it lends itself for planting in a tight space, as it grows upright and does not spread particularly sideways. Ulmus ‘Columella’ will produce a fine, columnar tree with good yellow autumn colour, and add real structure

The MPGA Elms4London 2026 Campaign is well underway and already we have run out of some of the variety’s. But we still have a number of exciting tress left. If you intend to apply for trees, can we urge you to put in your application before we run out for this season.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2025/6 MPGA Elms4London Campaign. We’re building on the success of the last four years work, where over 340 new disease resistant elm trees were distributed and planted around London, we are now able to offer a further selection, free of charge, to anyone managing public realm

The 2025/2026 Elms4London campaign will be opening soon. Please consider if you have a site in London for an tree or even an elm hub. We are looking forward to sharing the stock list soon.

The Whitehall Recreation Friends group and young members planting two ‘Sapporo Autumn Gold’ elms along perimeter of the park. Planted in a sunny site so all will be able to enjoy the fantastic yellow autumn colour.
