We are pleased to report that our successful collaboration with the Tree Musketeers has borne fruit and we will be in a position of supplying 17 ‘Lutece’ from this London Nursery for this coming planting season

On Tuesday last, our Chairman Mark Lane, presented the Elms4London initiative to the London Tree Officers Association at their newly convened seminar at the Transport for London HQ in Stratford. Our Committee are grateful to the LTOA for the opportunity to promote this campaign within their membership.

Trees in the Ground – This Ulmus ‘Wingham’, has found a new home in Dulwich Village beside the Old Grammar School.

Trees in the Ground – Havering. The first of the 2022 Elms4London trees are starting to go into the ground. Here we see an Ulmus ‘Wingham’ being planted at Brenda Blakemore Community Garden in Rainham in the London Borough of Havering

The first of this years elm tress are due to be dispatched on Tuesday 22nd February to all those that chose to receive Ulmus ‘Wingham’. More information on other deliveries coming very soon.

We had the opportunity to visit Langtorns Plantery this week to have a look at the Ulmus ‘Wingham’ they are supplying to the Elms4London project. Here is the owner of the nursery, Ed Cannon, with the young trees looking good and ready for despatch.
